Photo galleries
You can create photo galleries for a whole trip or for any stretch of time.
You can view the photos either as an ordinary gallery or on a map.
Where the photos land on the map depends on your device settings - it has to be allowed to add geolocation to photos. This has nothing to do with our app, these are system settings. Also, indoors a device may fail to add geolocation to a photo because it cannot see the positioning satellites.
In the gallery header you set the period you want the gallery to cover.
On iOS devices you will be shown the photos from that period. You remove the ones you do not want, and the rest are added to the photo gallery.
On Android devices, unfortunately, our app cannot retrieve photos for a period. Google sets very strict requirements for access to photos. Access is granted only to apps whose main purpose is working with files. Our app does not meet those requirements. We applied twice and were refused, despite every argument we made. So on Android devices you will have to add the photos by hand.
You can make a photo gallery public. You then get a link to the gallery. It can simply be opened in a browser. If your friends use the enot66 app, they can add it to their friends' galleries and view it inside the app.
Bear in mind that by exporting a photo gallery you make it potentially available to everyone on the Internet. Do not export galleries you would not want certain people to see.
You can of course delete both the local and the shared gallery at any time. If you delete a local gallery that has been shared, the shared one is deleted too.
Platforms
You can install the app for iOS or Android, or use the website.
The website helps with planning only, because travel assistance depends on where you physically are, and people do not usually walk around holding a computer.
